I feel for all who knew you,

With this great big hole you’ve left.

Weighed down with thoughts of words unsaid,

Your loss feels like a theft.

Yet even with your beaming smile that shone so very bright,

Somehow, somewhere, you lost your way and wandered out of sight.

Your laugh was like no other.

Your energy lit the room.

You were genuine and kind and taken far too soon.

You brought so many together, the nucleus of friends,

It really feels as if the world has lost a special gem.

I pray this loss unites us, as we share memories that lift.

Whilst we count our blessings to have known of such a precious gift.
