My jewellery journey began whilst living in Ecuador in 2011. There I met a beautiful soul named Gisela, who took me under her wing and taught me the artisanal ways of Macrame and Metal work. I found the intricate designs incredibly therapeutic, and went on to travel the coast of South America selling my handmade treasures along the way.
When I arrived in Ecuador my Spanish was minimal. I was fortunate to meet a lovely bunch of people who spoke the universal language of love and kindly accepted my attempts to communicate and embrace their culture, with open arms. I left SA seven months later, with a full heart and a good grasp of Spanish.
Next stop IBIZA. Here I continued to sell my Macrame pieces on the beaches, with Sunday sunsets at Benniras beach being a regular pit stop.
After the birth of my first daughter, I studied the art of Silversmithing in Brighton; under the eye of mastermind and Goldsmith extraordinaire - Chris Hawkins.
I spent the next 5 years raising my two daughters, whilst developing my understanding of Gold, Silver and semi-precious stones, through commissioned work.
Now I make limited edition collections, inspired by nature made from upcycled gold and silver.
